Definitely the best lunch option in the area around Times Square, this Cuban takeout lunch counter seems wrapped in history and character, and will always impress! The empanadas ($2) are a good bet, while the $8.00 pollo asado is a steal. Even the menu guarantees it will "never let you down."
The Cubano ($6.50, below) will not disappoint either, both cheesy and pickley, but is not mind-altering like the steak sandwich ($6.50), which comes with their special mojito dressing. They do know what they are doing on all fronts. Enjoy this place while it lasts!
